The cuisine is a wise delicate  mix of traditional Japanese flavors and dishes  (green tea, puffed rice, yuzu, sesame, miso, nori …and soba, udon, tempura, onigiri…) with organic local products ( locally sourced vegetable, syrups, and honey,…).

The deli offers a wide range of Basque and Japanese artisanal products (natural wines, sake, teas, miso,  …)

In a dedicated space are offered comfortable and organic clothing (Vague & Lame, Base Range, POPUPSHOP, Couleur Chanvre, Heritage Biarritz … ), various Japanese and Basque objects and accessories such as ceramics,  kitchen ustensiles, little Japanese objects, as well as a fine selection of books on ecology, contemporary art related to nature, and Japanese crafts.

Twice a year, Japanese artists are invited to collaborate with a Basque artisan with a range of disciplines and techniques from ceramics, weaving, floral art, woodcarving, basket making, paper art  (to culinary art, folk music, or martial arts, …


Workshop & gallery

Throughout the year, we invite artists, and crafts-men and –women to participate in workshops based on Japanese and Basque traditional crafts (pottery , weaving, woodcarving, ikebana , origami, furoshiki , oshibana , kintsugi … )
In the program :

– Meetings with researchers, artists, crafts-men and -women, poets, mediators around the topics of ecology, arts and crafts, (regional folk cultures)
– Film screenings
– Performances
– Exhibitions
